About this site

I’m Behzod Halil, a software engineer. This site is where I explain how software really runs in production: containers, Linux, backends and the systems around them.

How the posts are made

Every post starts as an experiment. I run it, keep the raw output, and only then write. The numbers you read are the numbers I measured, with the version they were measured on. The scripts are linked from each post, so you can rerun them and check.

The drawings are part of the explanation, not decoration. Pufak, the small character in them, is there to show what a process, a signal or a kernel is doing at that moment.
